According to JCIC statistics, Taiwan’s personal loan market has exceeded NT$1.5 trillion with over 1.8 million borrowers. Yet, nearly 40% of Taiwan's population lacks credit cards or traditional proof of income, leaving them excluded from conventional banking. To enhance financial inclusion, Gogolook’s micro-loan App, JUJI, provides a transparent, fast, and secure financing option. JUJI announced a strategic partnership with UBI Taiwan to launch the "Life Rewrite Project", a CSR initiative providing selected participants with an unconditional monthly stipend of NT$10,000 for one year, marking Taiwan’s first corporate-sponsored basic income trial.

Transforming Traditional Financing: JUJI Disburses Over NT$1 Billion in Emergency Loans
Operating for three years with over 30,000 monthly active users, JUJI has provided over NT$1 billion in emergency funds. Powered by a proprietary AI risk management engine, JUJI enables quick, and secure loans using smartphones or scooters as collateral, allowing users to complete applications in 3 minutes and receive funding within 30 minutes.
JUJI’s latest user profile highlights strong demand among younger generations in non-traditional employment, with users under 35 accounting for nearly 70% of total borrowers. Financially vulnerable users, such as those without credit cards, earning under NT$10,000 monthly, or lacking steady income have reached 55%, bridging critical gaps in traditional banking. Furthermore, JUJI boasts a 95% re-application rate. Nearly 60% of returning vulnerable users received improved loan terms compared to previous years, proving JUJI’s AI risk model fosters win-win financial recovery rather than debt traps.
Johnson Ke, CEO of Gogolook Fintech BU, stated:"Gogolook is committed to building trust through technology to achieve financial inclusion. JUJI bridges information gaps and mitigates scam risks in traditional micro-lending. Through product innovation and 24/7 automated processing on mobile devices, we provide a safe, transparent, and fast alternative for emergency capital."

"Life Rewrite Project" Grants NT$10,000 Monthly to Help Users Rebuild Lives
JUJI stands at the frontline of addressing immediate funding gaps, not only solving users' short-term liquidity needs but also actively championing financial inclusion as a core mission.
As rapid advancements in AI threaten to automate traditional jobs and reshape the labor market, the concept of Universal Basic Income (UBI), unconditional, regular cash payments provided to every individual regardless of status, has gained significant global momentum. Pioneering trials have been launched in countries like Finland, the United States, and Germany, while tech visionaries such as Tesla CEO Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman have openly advocated for UBI as a critical safety net against AI-driven economic disruption.
JUJI, guided by its mission to provide emergency micro-financing to the underserved, shares a unified core vision with UBI Taiwan. By bridging corporate financial tech with social innovation, the two organizations seek to offer individuals both immediate relief and a tangible safety net. The "Life Rewrite Project" will select three individuals facing income instability or sudden financial emergencies, providing them with NT$10,000 per month for one year, followed by a comprehensive outcome report. Applications opened on July 20 for JUJI members.
JUJI’s long-term banking credit partner, Roger Lin, Executive Vice President of O-Bank, shared:"JUJI’s rapid growth and innovative business model have reshaped traditional consumer financing. O-Bank’s capital support continues to extend financial value through JUJI's services, and we wish this social project great success."
Tyler Prochazka, Founder of UBI Taiwan, added: "Following our 2023 UBI trial for single-parent families, which successfully improved employment and family dynamics, we are thrilled to partner with JUJI. This marks the world’s first trial where a corporation integrates its business model with an NGO to explore social resilience—a milestone case for global UBI research."
Looking ahead, JUJI aims to expand its financial inclusion ecosystem by integrating micro-loans into real-world scenarios like job matching, pet healthcare, and online education, striving to become Taiwan’s most accessible emergency micro-loan platform.
